Karastan expanding Atlanta market showroom

ATLANTA - Karastan says it will expand and remodel its Americas Mart flagship showroom here to showcase a broader, deeper product mix at the Jan. 10-13 Atlanta International Area Rug Market.
     The expansion will give the manufacturer of machine- made area rugs more than 7,000 square feet in its existing location on Floor 3 of Building 1. The new space will support several line extensions, showcasing Karastan's growing product line to a broader base of customers, officials said.
    "Our goal is to always provide a stylish, functional and elegant backdrop for Karastan's wide array of product offerings," said Brandon Culpepper, the company's vice president of specialty sales. "Our expansion plan is key to presenting our newest products in a comfortable and inviting environment, and as always the new showroom will capture the sophistication and style of the Karastan brand."

     The Area Rug Market features the National Oriental Rug Show, Jan. 11-13. The Americas Mart schedule for January also includes the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market - permanent showrooms, Jan. 9-16 and temporaries, Jan. 11-15.
