Christopher Guy wins award

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - High-end decorative furniture resource Christopher Guy has received the John Chase Art & Design award at the 29th annual Creative City Awards 2012 presented by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
    The award is named for John Chase, a writer and urban designer for the city of West Hollywood. It recognizes businesses or individuals that have shown creativity and innovation in the world of art,
performance art, fashion, design, architecture or any other realm of creative arts.
     Christopher Guy opened a 10,000-square-foot flagship showroom in July at 8900 Beverly Blvd. in West Hollywood. It displays furnishings that reflect the essence of Los Angeles' "famed lifestyle."
     It also has hosted a number of events in the West Hollywood community, including a reception for Emmy-nominated art and set directors and charity events that benefited the victims of Hurricane Sandy and supported the nonprofit organization Heart of Los Angeles.
