American Furniture Mfg. names Randy Spak VP of sales

ECRU, Miss. — Randy Spak has been named the vice president of sales for American Furniture Mfg., a promotional upholstery manufacturer based here.
He will be responsible for executing the company's sales and marketing strategy and expanding penetration levels among new and existing accounts, the company said.
"Randy is uniquely qualified to serve as AFM's new vice president of sales based on his vast experience in the furniture industry," said Al Wiygul, who joined American Furniture in November as CEO. "Over the past 30 years, he has established an impressive track record in sales leadership, building extensive industry relationships that will add significant value over the long term as we welcome Randy to the AFM family."
Spak has nearly 30 years of senior management experience in the industry. He was most recently with manufacturer Albany Inds. and previously was president of China-based Cozzia, a producer of massage products. Earlier, he was president of Lane Furniture Inds.
"I am pleased to join AFM," Spak said. "The company's leadership position in the promotional furniture niche provides an exciting opportunity to leverage my in-depth experience with the furniture industry."
