A.R.T. Furniture sales rep Sheryl I. Houck dies at 55

EDGEWOOD, Ky. — Sheryl I. Houck, a longtime furniture retail decorator and industry sales representative, died here on Dec. 1 after a brief illness. She was 55.
Houck, of Mansfield, Ohio, most recently was a sales representative for A.R.T. Furniture for eight years, covering Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.
For about five years before that, she worked as a store manager at Sleep Source USA in Akron, Ohio, and for about 10 years before that was a decorator for Samsen Furniture in Genoa, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, four children, four grandchildren and a sister and brother.
There will be no visitation, but a memorial service is planned at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Pemberville Freedom American Legion Post 183 in Pemberville, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to Marsh Funeral Home in Pemberville.
