Group is treated to Rooms To Go store tour
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, December 10, 2012
NAPLES, Fla. - More than 40 attendees of Furniture/Today's Leadership Conference kicked off the event with an afternoon tour of Rooms To Go's approximately 30,000- square-foot store here.
Store Manager and industry veteran Gerry McGruder welcomed the group of retailers and suppliers, offering them a glimpse of the Rooms To Go way, including some insight into its popular room package strategy, the success of its Cindy Crawford Home line and its efforts to relax consumers with a low-pressure sales environment.
He also noted the success RTG is having with decorative accessories and its Decorators Club, which consumers can join for a one-time fee to receive a 20% discount on all accessories over a three-year period.
