Former retailer, Lynch Sales executive Gregory Scott dies at 68

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Gregory D. Scott, who spent 45 years in the home furnishings industry, has died at 68 after a brief illness.

Scott was mostly recently senior sales coordinator with Lynch Sales Co., which he joined in 1989. He and his wife, Fern, were involved in more than 150 sales over 22 years in the United States and Canada.
Before joining Lynch, Scott held management positions at several stores including Beidermans' Furniture in Jefferson City, Skorberg Furniture in Naperville, Ill., and Moskowitz Furniture in Tulsa, Okla.
Scott is survived by his wife, three children, 11 grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.
