Former Henredon Furniture exec George Koehler dies at 77

IRVINE, Calif. — George Edward Koehler, a longtime executive with Henredon Furniture, has died at age 77.

Koehler began his career in 1958 as a sales representative with Drexel Heritage. He joined Henredon in 1969 as a sales representative. He was later named vice president of sales and was a leader on the company's product development department.

Koehler is survived by his wife; a son, David Koehler, an executive with AICO; two daughters; six grandchildren and three brothers.

A memorial service is set for 10:30 a.m. Dec. 21 at the Mariners Church Chapel in Irvine.
