IRVINE, Calif. - George Edward Koehler, a longtime executive with Henredon Furniture, has died at age 77.
Koehler began his career in 1958 as a sales representative with Drexel Heritage. He joined Henredon in 1969 as sales representative. He was later named vice president of sales and was a leader on the company's product development department.
Koehler is survived by his wife; a son, David Koehler, an executive with AICO; two daughters; six grandchildren and three brothers.
A memorial service was held at the Mariners Church Chapel in Irvine.
Memorial donations may be made to the Free Wheelchair Mission, 15279 Alton Pkwy., Suite 300, Irvine, Calif., or The Hoag Cancer Center.
