Ashley opens three U.S. stores

ARCADIA, Wis. - Three new Ashley Furniture HomeStores have opened, one in Pennsylvania and two in Texas.
     In Willow Grove, Pa., the retailer has opened a 32,508- square-foot store on Welsh Road. Store owner Simon Kaplan owns seven Ashley Furniture HomeStores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and plans to open an additional store next year.
     In Sherman, Texas, a 25,000-square-foot Ashley Furniture HomeStore has opened on Texoma Parkway. David Gunn, owner of local licensee Roundtable Partners LLC, is the operator of the new store.

Pennsylvania: The Willow Grove staff includes: Mark Locascio, left; Alan Eng, Erica Bello, Tim Madden, Joseph McCaffrey, Drexel Craig, Kim Monahan, Carl Dorsey, Robert Lentz, Kevin Cangialosi, Anik Denis Dasilva, Victoria Philipson, Leon Morton, Mike Serpentelli, Gloria Lee, Brian Snyder and Tim Harris.
Pennsylvania:

     In Tyler, Texas, the Dufresne Spencer Group has opened a 36,000-square-foot showroom on South Broadway Avenue. Grand opening festivities included a ribbon cutting with the Tyler Chamber of Commerce and a $5,000 furniture giveaway drawing. Joey Guyton is the store manager.
     The showroom will be supported by a 25,000-squarefoot warehouse, also in Tyler. In total, the Dufresne Spencer Group said it will invest approximately $1 million dollars in the Tyler expansion and create up to 40 full-time jobs in the community.
     All three stores features bedroom, dining room, upholstery, motion upholstery, leather, occasional tables, entertainment centers, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses, lamps, accent pillows, throws, area rugs and accessories.
