Pete Barron named national sales manager at Orient Express

RANCH SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Dining, occasional and bedroom supplier Orient Express Furniture has named Pete Barron to the newly created position of national sales manager.

Officials said Barron will support the company's expanding customer base, oversee sales personnel and have a key role in sales strategy and development.
"Pete will be an integral element to define market opportunities while continuing to expand the company's distribution strategies with our team of sales representatives," said Anders Johnson, president of Star International Furniture, parent company of Orient Express Furniture.
Barron reports to Anders Johnson and Anna Johnson, vice president of design and merchandising.
Barron previously worked with Orient Express Furniture as an independent sales representative serving Colorado. During a 16-year industry career, he has represented importers and domestic manufacturers in the Rocky Mountain region, and spent seven years in retail management and sales.
