Palliser promotes Nicole Morin, John Power

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Palliser Furniture has promoted Nicole Morin to merchandising manager and John Power to national sales manager for Canada for the upholstered furniture manufacturer.

"Nicole has been with Palliser for 12 years in a variety of related roles including merchandising and pricing, and sales manager for Canada where she has been directly responsible for the direction and management of many of our largest accounts," Lorri Kelley, Palliser vice president of sales and service, said in a statement.

"She has also successfully managed our relationships and business with key buying groups, along with directing the sales efforts of our sales representatives throughout Canada. We are very excited to have her in this new role and look forward to how she will utilize her sales and merchandising background to successfully manage this important area," Kelley said.

Power joined Palliser in September as regional manager for Eastern Canada. Prior to that, he was national sales manager for the Lane and Broyhill divisions of Furniture Brands Canada. An industry veteran, he was also national sales manager for Serta Canada.

"He has great experience with an extensive background in the home furnishings industry, working with a variety of manufacturers throughout his career," Kelley said, adding, "John has done a tremendous job since joining Palliser and he will make an equally important impact as he begins to manage the sales activities of Western Canada.
