Adjustable bed maker Reverie to show in Toronto

SILVER CREEK, N.Y. — Adjustable bed manufacturer Reverie will show for the first time at this weekend's Canadian Home Furnishings Market, where it is also expected to unveil its newly redesigned website at www.reverie.com.

In a statement, the company said the site was designed to help educate consumers and retailers on the benefits of adjustable bases in the wake of a surge of new consumer interest in the product. The company's tagline is "Sleep Well Tonight/Live Better Tomorrow."

The website features content about the benefits of healthy, restorative sleep. It refers consumers to Reverie dealers in their area.

The site has sections on products and a "learning center" with sleeping tips. A Sleep Zodiac feature determines a person's sleep personality and suggests products based on individual sleeping habits. A dealer portal with retailer news and announcements will be introduced later this year.

"There is a resurgence in consumer interest in adjustable bases and this new website is a key tool to help people chose the right base for their lifestyle," said Martin Rawls-Meehan, Reverie president and CEO. "The activity in the category is being fueled by consumers increasingly using their beds for more than just relaxation, but also for work, viewing entertainment and even eating. We believe that educating consumers is the first part of the sales process and guiding them to a store where they can rest test products is the second."

During TCHFM, Reverie will show in booth 5066, in the International Centre's Hall 5. The market runs Jan. 12-15.
