Magniflex bringing Magnigel pillows and mattresses to TCHFM

TORONTO — Italian mattress specialist Magniflex will feature its Magnigel collection of mattresses and pillows at the Canadian Home Furnishings Market, which opens at the International Centre here on Saturday for its annual four-day run.
Designed to provide the user with maximum airflow and breathability, Magnigel is the result of years of research and development, according to the company.
The mattress is created by using a pre-polymer that is "swirled" into the foam compound for greater coverage, officials said. Magnigel's open-cell design provides breathability and a capacity to dissipate heat faster than other gel products currently on the market, the company says.
"The specialty sleep category has been growing at a rapid rate, with gel offerings at the forefront of that growth. We knew we needed to take the time to create the most superior gel-foam option on the market," Marco Magni, Magniflex USA president, said in a statement. "Our Magnigel mattresses and pillows allow consumers to sleep at their optimal body temperatures from head to toe, providing them with a cooler, more restful night's sleep."
The Magnigel line also includes pillows, which enable retailers to sell a complementary accessory to the mattress that offers similar features.
The new Duogel and Duogel XS models are the first Magniflex mattresses to feature Magnigel.
Magni said the high density, flexible composition of Magnigel offers an ultra-plush feel that envelops the body for maximum comfort. The gel foam responds rapidly and will return quickly to its original shape. Magnigel will also be offered as an option for many other Magniflex mattresses.
The pillow collection consists of two pure Magnigel pillows, a Magnigel/Memoform combination pillow, and a Magnigel/latex combination pillow, providing a variety of comfort feels. All are designed to offer maximum airflow and breathability.
Magniflex will show in space 2308 which is in Hall 2 of the International Centre. The company is represented in Canada by Richard Landriault of the Ottawa-based Landriault & Associates.
