HO CHI MINH CITY - Officials with high-end manufacturer Theodore Alexander said that no injuries were reported in a fire last week at the company's factory here.
The fire affected finishing and work and processing areas at the 660,000-squarefoot facility, company officials said. Operations in those areas will be moved to other Theodore Alexander facilities in Vietnam.
The company said in a press release it is preparing revised production and shipment plans. It added that the cause of the fire was undetermined.
Theodore Alexander added that it has substantial inventory in both the United States and overseas in preparation for the three-week Tet new year holiday.
Samples slated for the spring High Point Market were unaffected and the company is proceeding with market plans as scheduled.
