Standard moving to new Las Vegas showroom
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 14, 2013
LAS VEGAS - Case goods resource Standard Furniture will be in a new showroom for the Jan. 28-Feb. 1 Las Vegas Market.
The space, World Market Center C-1489, is one floor down from the company's former location in C-1501. At 25,000 square feet, the new showroom is a little smaller but has a more efficient layout, officials said.
Vicki Garrett, showroom designer, said the new space will allow Standard to create a "visually open modern showroom." It will have a freestanding coffee bar and café at the center and product displays revolving around the core area.
Company President Todd Evans said the showroom is designed "from the ground up to perfectly fit with our merchandising mix." Officials also said the space also has increased visibility, with the entrance across from the elevators and adjacent to the crossover walkway between buildings B and C.
