PICO RIVERA, Calif. - AICO/Amini Innovations Corp. honored Linda Picconi, its product service advisor, with the company's Employee of the Year award at its annual holiday party.
Two other employees - Matt Davaie, director of finance, and Denise Salcido, sales support coordinator - received the home furnishings importer's Spirit of Excellence award.
They were honored at a party at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif., that drew more than 220 guests for dinner, dancing and live entertainment.
Picconi, who has been with AICO for more than 10 years, is a deserving recipient of the Employee of the Year award, said company President Martin Ploy.
"The essence of this award is in the acronym AICO, which stands for Attitude, Initiative, Commitment and Outstanding performance. Linda has the ability and the initiative to perform above and beyond the scope of her own assignments, and is a fully engaged team player," Ploy said. "She is a truly valuable employee whose consistent effort and commitment are worthy of our highest recognition."
The Spirit of Excellence award recognizes individuals who demonstrate a passion for excellence in their work on a daily basis. Davaie has been with AICO for 14 years and Salcido seven years.
"Each of these awards is well deserved," said company CEO Michael Amini. "I am honored to have such a committed team behind me, and pleased to recognize these fine individuals."
