Nationwide East's new Snapshot tool shows retailer benefits

CLARKEVILLE, Ga. — The Nationwide East division of Nationwide Marketing Group has introduced a Snapshot software tool that houses sales data, rebates and other information, giving its buying group members an overview of the exclusive deals they're getting from the organization.
Also factored in are the Nationwide PrimeTime Cash Back Now deals, offered at the group's trade shows, and monthly reports from manufacturer partners.
Snapshot was released two months ago. Nationwide East said it is contributing to its existing members' business success and an increase in new interest in the buying group by prospective members.
"The Snapshot program provides Nationwide East's current members a detailed analysis of the benefits they are taking advantage of, as well as opportunities they could be taking advantage of to render a more successful business," the furniture, electronics and appliances buying group said in a release.
Retailers also can use Snapshot as a recruitment tool, to showcase what potential new members are missing out on. It can compare a prospective member's business with that of a Nationwide member that has similar product lines and volume, but with the added benefit of the special deals and programs offered through the buying group.
The interface is user-friendly and compatible with all devices, including smartphones and tablets, Nationwide East said.
"As Nationwide East members continue to utilize Snapshot, the Nationwide Marketing Group umbrella is seeking out ways in which the program can be expanded into other divisions," the group said.
The program's developers also are working on a new function that will allow users to see quarterly business breakdowns.
Nationwide East has 682 company members with 1,048 stores in the eastern third of the United States.
