Each report also provides state-level and county data for the product. 2012 sales estimates for each product category were developed by Furniture Today market research based on data available through October 2012 and are subject to revision as additional data become available.
Current estimates are based on information from the Department of Commerce, the International Trade Commission, sales estimates from manufacturers and retailers, Furniture Today's Consumer Buying Trends Survey, Upholstery and Case Goods Style surveys, the Furniture Store Performance Report and discussions with industry executives and analysts.
