Twin-Star appoints VP of operations

TamDELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Fireplace and console specialist Twin-Star International has named Raymond Tam vice president of operations.
     He was most recently general manager of Red Chip International, where he organized the management team, strengthened vendor relationships and im - proved quality, service and product development initiatives, Twi n - Star said. He also has run his own manufacturing company in Canada.
     In his new role, he reports to Robert Cohen, president and CEO of Twin-Star International, and will be based at the company's China office, overseeing an operations team that includes quality, production and logistics functions.
     "Raymond's technical knowledge, blended with his proven leadership ability and vast understanding of both western and eastern cultures, will be an enormous asset to the Twin-Star team," Cohen said in a statement.
