Feizy to mark 40th anniversary with a party during the Las Vegas Market

LAS VEGAS — In celebration of Feizy Rugs' 40th anniversary, company founder and CEO John Feizy will host a 1940s-themed party in the company's showroom here during next week's Las Vegas Market, complete with big band music.

The soiree is set for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday in World Market Center C-399.

Tracy Porter, the designer behind the Poetic Wanderlust by Tracy Porter brand, will be on hand as the company launches two of her new rug collections, Tamar and Coronado. Attendees can register to win a 6 by 9 hand-knotted Amzad rug, with the winner to be selected in a random drawing at 5 p.m.

In addition to the Tamar and Coronado collections, seven other new collections are making Las Vegas debuts and more pieces are being added to existing collections. A mix of both Fine and Home offerings in a variety of styles, constructions and price points have been added to Feizy's running line.

"We are set to launch more new collections this year than we have in any other previous year," said John Feizy. "Our designers have been hard at work to make our 40th year the strongest one yet in terms of introductions. Look for new constructions and entrances into new categories as well."

The company also is offering incentives on orders placed at market, including free freight and discounts.
