APJL said the promotion will allow Marchiando, who had been national sales manager, to be more involved with the home furnishings retailers who are the firm's clients.
A 34-year industry veteran, he has worked in management on the manufacturing side at companies including Stanley Furniture, Pilliod, Pennsylvania House and HDM, the parent company of Henredon, Drexel Heritage and Maitland-Smith. He also worked at Barclays Commerical (now CIT) and GE Capital Commercial Services.
The firm said that with his extensive background in finance, Marchiando will be able to identify retailers' financial challenges and provide solutions to help them develop a plan and exit strategy.
"We are very lucky to have a professional like Dominic on our team," said company President Allen Parvizian. "His experiences and journeys through the years give him an edge like no other candidate. Dominic is a true company man and really cares about helping our clients find the best solution."
