Kas Rugs moves to larger showroom

LAS VEGAS - Kas Rugs debuted a new showroom at last week's Las Vegas Market that allowed it to show a larger assortment of its growing product line.
The company previously showed in World Market Center B-570 and is now in the lobby area of the same building in B-175. The 4,000-square-foot space is as much as 1,000 square feet larger than the previous location, said Wendy Reiss, vice president of key accounts.
At last week's market, the company offered discounts on stock orders for existing customers and also offered free freight on initial orders from new accounts. Kas showed more than 300 new rugs, many of which were also shown at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market last month.
"We have some exclusive qualities that we are excited to show and want to let our customers know how committed we are to this category," said Hari Tummala, vice president of product development.
