WithIt shares photos from 2013 WOW Awards dinner

LAS VEGAS — Women's leadership and networking organization WithIt has released photos from its 2013 WOW Awards dinner and reception at the winter Las Vegas Market.

The annual WOW Awards honor achievements that embody the group's mission to encourage and develop leadership, mentoring, education and networking for women in home furnishings.

This was the first year the event took place at the World Market Center here.

In the presentations, Margi Kyle, designer at The Designing Doctor, was given the with the President's Award, which goes to a woman who embraces, nurtures and leads those around her. Kyle was chosen by Julia Rosien, founder of SocialNorth.com and WithIt's 2012 president.

Other honorees included Peggy Traub, president and CEO of Adesso, Lifetime Achievement/Founder's award; Cheminne Taylor-Smith, vice president of marketing for the High Point Market Authority, Education award; Wright Global Graphic Solutions, Mentoring award; Kiersten Hathcock, CEO and designer for Mod Mom Furniture, Future Leader award; Kimberly Brown Knopf, founder and president of Innovative Mattress Solutions, Leadership award; and Kathy Ireland, designer and CEO of Kathy Ireland Worldwide, who was honored with the Legacy award.
