Butera book signing at Nourison to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims

Sales at market of Barclay Butera’s new book, “Living on the Coast,” will benefit Hurricane Sandy victims.LAS VEGAS - Nourison and lifestyle designer Barclay Butera will co-host a book signing and cocktail party Monday, Jan. 28, in Nourison's Las Vegas showroom in World Market Center C-112.
     All market visitors are invited to attend the event, which runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
     Butera's new book, "Living on the Coast," will be for sale at $25. Proceeds from the sale, along with a matching donation from Nourison, will benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.
     "We are pleased to host this event in our showroom and to contribute towards the relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Sandy," said Alex Peykar, principal at Nourison. "This is very personal for us because the storm has devastated several areas where we live and work, as well as affected many of our own customers, friends and relatives."

     Nourison's Barclay Butera line has seven collections and 41 rugs including:

     ► Hinsdale, densely pow-erloom woven New Zealand wool with viscose highlights featuring Persian and Damask designs.
     ► Maze, a flat-weave collection in wool that features an interlocking two-toned geometric pattern.
     ► Medley, a modern hide-hair collection that features classic color combinations merged with over-dyed vivid hues and a double-banded metal stud border.
     ► Oxford, a design in wool featuring well-defined signature stripes in varying widths with gentle colorways.
     ► Ripple, a wool, hi/lo flat-weave collection that features variegated mono-color waves with a subtle texture and gentle vibe.
