Maynard's joins Furniture First

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Maynard's Home Furnishings of New Belton, S.C., has joined the Furniture First buying group here.
     Like most Furniture First members, the two-store Maynard's is a family-owned business, led by President Rex Maynard, with strong ties to its community. It is a member of three area chambers of commerce, as well as the Better Business Bureau.
     Maynard's also is a member of the Southern Home Furnishings Assn., the National Home Furnishings Assn. and National Federation of Independent Businesses.
     With the addition of Maynard's, Furniture First now has 195 owner-members with 416 furniture stores in 47 states and sales of about $1.5 billion.
