WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Upholstery producer Palliser Furniture has hired former Natuzzi executive Joseph Mussallem as sales manager for the southeastern United States.
Mussallem has spent more than 20 years in the furniture industry, mostly with leather upholstery producer Natuzzi. Most recently, he was special accounts manager for North America at Chateau D'Ax, which also produces leather upholstery.
At Natuzzi, he held several product and sales posts and was president of Natuzzi Americas from 2010 until the fall of 2012.
At Palliser, he will oversee sales in the newly aligned Southeast territory.
"We are very excited to have Joe joining us at Palliser and he is looking forward to being a part of our team," said Lorri Kelley, vice president of sales and service. "We now have a very dynamic, experienced and talented sales management team in place which sets the stage for another great year in 2013."
Brad Glick, who had been sales manager for the eastern U.S., will now be sales manager for the northwestern region.
"Brad has done a terrific job in his two years at Palliser, leading the eastern U.S. region to double-digit growth each year, and he will bring a new energy and leadership style as he works with the newly aligned region," Kelley said.
John Power will continue as sales manager for Canada.
