Three rugs included in Furniture/Today roundup of market hits

Karastan did well at the Las Vegas Market with its new Panache collection, including this rug and other patterns including chevrons, modern ikats, honeycomb, geometrics, florals and distressed crackled styles. Panache rugs are woven of soft nylon fibers on Van der Weile looms in the USA.

LAS VEGAS — Three rugs were among the products chosen by Furniture/Today's editors as some of the best products introduced at the recent Las Vegas Market.

Featured rugs included:

• One from Foreign Accents' Festival collection, designed by Karen Harris.

• An entry from Karastan's Panache collection, which are woven of soft nylon fibers on Van de Weile looms in the USA

• A woven area rug from the Dryden collection by American Rug Craftsmen, a Karastan brand, made of SmartStrand Triexta fiber.

These and other market hits can be seen in the Feb. 11 print issue of Furniture Today.

Dryden is a new collection in Karastan’s American Rug Craftsmen brand. The U.S.-made line includes the first woven area rugs in the durable and soft SmartStrand Triexta fiber, according to the company. Retail price for a 5 by 8 rug is $399.

The Festival collection, designed by Karen Harris, was a hit at the Las Vegas Market for Foreign Accents. Suggested retail for this rug in a 5 by 7-foot-3 size is $538.
