Retailers can suggest finishes in John Thomas Furniture contest

Heath E. Combs -- Furniture Today, February 26, 2013

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Casual dining supplier John Thomas Furniture is looking to retailers for input on new finishes or colors for its custom finish program.

Retail customers who use the John Thomas Select custom finish program are asked to enter a sample - via wood chip or paint swatch, for example - of the finish or paint color they would like to see added to the program.

The Finish Face-Off Contest began Feb. 15 and ends on March 29.

Samples will be returned per customer request at the contest's completion and unlimited submissions can be entered. Voting will take place in the company's showroom before and during the High Point Market, April 18-22.

Three winners will be selected and announced on April 23. Winners will be able select the name of the new finishes or colors.

Additionally, winners will be recognized at the market and receive gift cards to a national online retailer - $500 for first place, $350 for second and $150 for third.

Submissions can be sent to:
Whitewood Industries
Attn: Marketing Dept. - Finish Face-Off
100 Liberty Drive
Thomasville, N.C. 27361.

For more information contact Jamie Brendle at (336) 472-0303 extension 113 or by e-mail at j.brendle@whitewood.net.
