CARTHAGE, Mo. - Components supplier Leggett & Platt has promoted Karl Glassman to president and Matthew Flanigan to executive vice president, and said David Haffner is expected to be named chairman and CEO at the May board meeting.
Haffner has been president and CEO since 2006 and a director since 1995, and has held various management roles at Leggett for three decades.
As chairman he will replace Richard Fisher, who has been on the board since 1972 and has been chairman since 2008, the company said. Fisher is expected to remain on the board as vice chair and lead director.
