Heath E. Combs -- Furniture Today, March 11, 2013

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Industry veteran Karl Eulberg has resigned as executive vice president at Bush Furniture to become president of ready-to-assemble furniture source E-ready.

E-ready will provide the design, sales and marketing for a Chinese vendor of RTA pieces, a press release said, although it didn't name the vendor. Eulberg was unavailable for comment.

"Combining top design talent, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and a ‘factory-direct' pricing structure, E-ready is positioned to be a disruptive innovator within e-commerce, mass merchants and furniture retailers," Eulberg said in the press release.

E-ready will debut at the spring High Point Market as a division of Turnkey Furniture. It will show with Turnkey in the International Home Furnishings Center, M-639.

The company said its first collection will include small office and entertainment furniture and will be made of made of wood solids and veneers, in an easy-assembly format with features to suit electronics.

All E-ready items will be designed and packaged for e-commerce, with competitive pricing and quality, the company said. Retail price points will range from $99 to $599.

Before working for Bush, Eulberg was an executive at Martin Home Furnishings.
