Art Van opens seventh PureSleep store, plans four more

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — Art Van Furniture has opened its seventh Art Van PureSleep store here and says it has four more on the way this spring, including its first outside Michigan in Toledo, Ohio.

The 4,200-square-foot store here in a strip center at 44975 Hayes Road, soft opened in February and is off to a strong start, said Art Van Director of Corporate Communications Diane Charles. The retailer will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 19.

In addition to the Sterling Heights store, the Warren, Mich.-based Top 100 company said it will open PureSleep stores in Kalamazoo and Midland, Mich., and Toledo in April and in West Bloomfield, Mich., in May. That will Art Van's PureSleep store count up to 11.

Suppliers and brands at the chain include E.S. Kluft & Co., Sealy, Simmons Beautyrest, Kingsdown's Sleep to Live, Stearns & Foster, Tempur-Pedic, King Koil and ComforPedic.
