NEW YORK - High-end organic linens house Coyuchi will be showcasing samples of its new spring/summer line as well as previews for some aspects of its fall 2013 line during the New York Home Fashions Market this week.
Coyuchi claims to be the first company to bring organic cotton bedding to the United States. Founded 20 years ago in the small Northern Californian coastal town of Point Reyes Station, Coyuchi products are produced using organic and natural fibers, "free of the toxic dies, bleaches and finishes used in conventional textiles." All Coyuchi cotton is 100% organic and produced using a nontoxic production process certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard.
For market, new collections span various product categories, including accent pillows, bath towels and accent rugs, shower curtains, bedding collections, throws and others.
The company will be showing its new lines from a space at Affinia Shelburne, 303 Lexington Ave., on market week, March 18 to 21.
