TUPELO, Miss. — Adding to its product portfolio in the premium mattress category, Kingsdown is showcasing its newly expanded Passions Collection at this week's Tupelo Furniture Market.
Kingsdown is showing in Building 4, space 4437 at the market, which opened Thursday and runs through Sunday.
The 18-model collection, one of the company's largest lines, offers a variety of constructions, comfort feels and competitive price points ranging from $699 to $1,699 in queen. It features new models with the cooling benefits of unique gel engineered components, such as gel-infused fibers and foams, according to the company.
The line also features a unique coil system for increased contoured support. A new hip, fashion-forward look uses silver and black accents throughout the line with varying side-panel designs that distinguish each model, officials said.
"The Tupelo Furniture Market attracts independent retailers we hadn't reached in Las Vegas that are hungry for high-performance mattresses at premium or middle-market price points. We are filling that void with Passions. With the latest updates, new look and superior tailoring, we're confident this collection will be well-received," said Kingsdown President and CEO Frank Hood. "We take pride in our experience working with smaller retailers to distinguish them from the competition by getting unique, exclusive product on their floors."
In Tupelo, the Passions Collection is being shown alongside Kingsdown's Blu-Tek and Sleep Comfort International (SCI) product lines.
Blu-Tek products bring the best in airflow technology to the memory foam category with a four-step Cool Support Technology process, which allows it to sleep cooler than conventional foam, the company says.
SCI is a value collection offering a half-dozen mattress options ranging from $199 to $799 in queen. Kingsdown says the SCI products feature the company's elegant styling and construction, qualities not typically seen in current low-cost mattress options.
