GREENSBORO, N.C. — Kevin Castellani, president and publisher of Progressive Business Media, parent of Furniture/Today, has announced two promotions at the company.
Connie Lineberry, who most recently was vice president, marketing, at Progressive Business Media, has been promoted to executive vice president and will assume the title of EVP of brand creative services.
In her new role, Lineberry will be responsible for creating synergies across all of Progressive Business Media's brands, designing value-added services for existing clients and continuing to find ways to exceed customer expectations, Castellani said.
"While Connie has spent most of her career here as vice president of marketing, she has also managed our Creative Services department and has been instrumental in the ongoing success of our industry conferences. Moving forward, she will continue to manage our creative services and will be a part of senior management, driving growth and development within the company," said Castellani.
In addition, Janice Lassiter has been promoted to publisher of Home Accents Today, a sister publication of Furniture/Today. She was most recently associate publisher.
"Janice has spent 24 years with us, primarily in key sales and management roles, and thanks to her hard work, commitment and leadership, this publication has achieved double-digit growth during the past few years," Castellani said.
Matthew Slaine, president of FT Media Holdings, parent company of Progressive Business Media, said, "Connie and Janice have each earned a reputation for excellence, both at Progressive Business Media and within the home furnishings arena. It is gratifying to reward this kind of outstanding performance as we continue to build and strengthen our team."
Both promotions are effective Oct. 1. Lineberry and Lassiter will each report to Castellani.
