Attalia, the Sugar Valley, Ga.-based rug manufacturer's new wool collection, combines rich color and design. Inspired by traditional design motifs, Attalia rugs are ornate with a relaxed look. The rugs are woven on Axminster looms in the U.S. of premium, fully worsted New Zealand wool.
"Attalia rugs provide amazing quality and style in soft, eco-friendly wool-at a reasonable price," said Brandon Culpepper, vice president of specialty sales for Mohawk, Karastan's parent company. "We are excited about the potential to grow the Karastan market with this beautiful and durable collection that is at home in both traditional and contemporary settings."
Attalia rugs are available in 6x9 and 9x12.
Karastan's new Intermezzo Collection features designs ranging from ikats, Suzanis and ethnic tribals to exploded florals and Jacobean patterns in a diverse color palette.
Intermezzo rugs are woven of 100% super-soft premium nylon fibers on Van de Weile looms in the USA.
"Intermezzo rugs have a soft hand and dense pile that is not only durable but easy to clean," says Culpepper. "We expect this collection to do well among consumers seeking color and style to bring their homes new energy."
Intermezzo is available in 2x8 runners, 3x5, 5x8 and 10x13 sizes.
Color combines with the softness and durability in the new Ubershag Collection from Karastan Studio. Imported from China, the rugs are hand tufted of 100% polyester fibers. The color palette features 12 solid shades from earthtones to jeweltones and metallics.
"Ubershag is the ultimate bedside rug," said Culpepper. "It combines a soft, luxurious look with everyday comfort and durability."
Ubershag is available in 5x8 and 8x11 sizes.
Karastan shows in IHFC showroom H309.
