WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Nationwide Marketing Group buying group here has partnered with retail furniture software provider ProfitSystems to offer a group program to its more than 3,500 members.
The program is designed to run every aspect of a retailer's operations, including point-of-sale, inventory management, customer relationship management, and accounting.
Nationwide's retailers also will have access to real-time online dashboards, e-commerce, and tablet integration, the group said in a release, adding that it already has been rolling out preloaded Info-Pad tablet devices to its members, "so the evolving initiative continues to enable retailers to combat the changing shopping trends of consumers."
"As we increase our focus on the furniture and bedding categories, ProfitSystems stood out as a vendor with solutions that meet our retailers' needs," said Frank Sandtner, NMG's vice president of member services.
ProfitSystems Chief Operating Officer Shelley Parlin said the company is "thrilled" to partner with buying group, adding, "When you combine the forces of two companies whose sole purpose is to help retailers, great things will happen."
ProfitSystems is a leading software solution provider for industry retailers with sales between $1 million to $80 million. Nationwide has more than 3,500 retailer members with more than 10,000 stores and combined annual sales of $14 billion.
