Feizy Rugs to add to Fine line at High Point Market

DALLAS - Feizy Rugs will add to its Fine collection of hand knotted rugs at the Oct. 19-24 High Point Market.
The Dallas-based rug company will introduce three pieces in its Mambasa collection and two new rugs to its Tesoro collection.
"These additions are all simply stunning," said John Feizy, the company's founder and CEO. "They all have a magnificent sheen, which adds a tremendous amount of dimension and life to the seemingly simple designs."
Hand-knotted in pure handspun bamboo silk, the simple patterns of the Mambasa collection are African-inspired. Clean, contemporary designs possess a subtle shimmer and a soft hand, the company says.
The Tesoro rugs are hand knotted in two fiber combinations (wool and bamboo silk or 100% bamboo silk), featuring classic damask patterns with updated palettes and lustrous piles.
A portion of all market orders will be donated to The Global Fund for Children, an organization that finds and invests in community-based groups worldwide to transform the lives of children on the edges of society and help them regain their rights and reach their potential, the company said. Feizy has set a goal to donate at least $40,000 to GFC by April and is more than halfway there.
To date, the fund has invested more than $29 million in nearly 550 organizations in 78 countries, transforming the lives of more than 9 million children and youth.
On Monday, Oct. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Feizy Rugs and Market Square/IMC will co-host a Fabulous & 40 1940s-inspired birthday party, starting in the Feizy showroom in MS-143, 145 and migrating to the courtyard. Guests will be treated to live music by The Boilermaker Jazz Band, a martini bar, hors d'oeuvres and swing dance lessons.
