Fabric companies offer new styles for Summer Showtime
HIGH POINT — Here are some of the new looks that fabric companies offered at Summer Showtime 2006.

Designers Bess Rosefield and Ninabeth Metcalf produced these patterns that debuted at Stroup Fabrics. These pink and green fabrics of cotton, or viscose and polyester blends, range from $8.95 to $17.95. |

Bojano, shown in a bluestone colorway, is a rayon texture priced at $7.95 that is part of the first collection from Quaker Global. |

Rich color and an evocative drawing create the character of Isadora, a fabric from Chris Stone, printed on pure linen for $8.95. |

A new print from Mar-Que, Bonavista is a cotton and polyester blend for $4.95 at 54 inches, and is available in 108-inch width as well. |

Renaissance Rose from American Folk and Fabric is a floral stripe printed on a 100% cotton dobby texture for $10.95. |

A rich stripe and plaid of pure silk debuted at Avon Fabric, which specializes in upscale silks from $9 to $35. |

The new Studio Colorworks brand offered Dry Creek, a textural cotton in a bright saturated dahlia colorway, and Modern Velvet, a lush cotton velvet in purple rain, are priced at $8.95 and $10.95, respectively. |

Two companion patterns in a fresh turquoise were among introductions at first-time Showtime exhibitor U.S. Exim. The Asos patterns are viscose, polyester and acrylic, for $7.95. |
