Arthur Brett & Sons lays off majority of workforce
British manufacturer is up for sale

NORWICH, England — High-end traditional furniture manufacturer Arthur Brett & Sons has entered administration, the British equivalent of bankruptcy, and laid off three-quarters of its employees, according to news reports in the United Kingdom.
Administrator Deloitte & Touche said there has been interest from “a number of interested parties” in buying the business, according to a report in Britain’s Eastern Daily Press.
