Grange returns to High Point after six years

High-end French manufacturer showing in Market Square

AT THE MARKET — High-end manufacturer Grange, best known for its French country collections and museum reproduction pieces, has returned to High Point after a six-year absence.

The company, based in Lyon, France, has opened a new showroom in space 312 of Market Square.

“The time was right for us, as consumers are looking at products more critically and demand for real hand-crafted luxury products is increasing,” said Matthew Hayward, president of Grange’s operations in the United States and Canada. “The High Point Market … is the only U.S. market to highlight the true super-luxury brands.”

At market, Hayward said the company is highlighting an array of hand-applied color finishes, its customizable modular wall units, and a new quick-ship program that utilizes the company’s warehouse in New Jersey.

“We are one of the largest (consumer) advertisers in the U.S. and consumers are looking for our brand,” he said. “We are back at market to enable that search and to fulfill the consumer in the retail store.”
