Bailey Street introduces Southern Living chairs
Will show line at Atlanta, Las Vegas markets

ARLINGTON, Texas — Accent furniture specialist Bailey Street Holding Company is marketing a new line of upholstered chairs through a licensing agreement with Southern Living magazine.
The Queen Anne style chairs are made with a basic muslin cover and are available in 25 upholstery covers. The fabrics range from traditional to transitional styles that include stripes, solids and floral patterns.
Other pieces available in the same 25 fabrics include a bench and slipper chair.
The program is similar to Bailey Street’s Couture Covers program, which allows retailers and consumers to pick from a wide variety of fabrics on parsons chairs and benches. The covers can be put on and removed in minutes, which is a large factor of the program’s success in the marketplace, according to the company.
Southern Living is a magazine that celebrates Southern lifestyles. It covers a wide mix of subjects ranging from homes and gardens to travel and foods that are popular in southern states.
Bailey Street will show the Southern Living chairs and fabrics for the first time at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, July 8-16, and also will bring the line to the Las Vegas Market, July 28-Aug. 1.
The covers, chairs and benches will be stocked and available for immediate delivery from Bailey Street’s Dallas warehouse. They will begin shipping in mid-September.
