Company also launches custom color program

HONG KONG — Importer and manufacturer Hamilton Spill said it plans to hold all prices for all orders placed between Aug. 1 and Dec. 31.
The pricing policy covers orders placed on new items and also covers repeat orders of the same product up through the end of the year.
“We understand in this inflationary environment, pricing can change from day to day,” said company President Rick Verjee in a statement. “That’s why we feel this program is so important, and why our retailers will see value.”
In addition to the pricing incentive, Hamilton Spill said it is launching its first custom color or “tag order” program. It applies to four of the company’s highest volume sectionals, the Vincent, Maurice, Richard and Cardenas models. Each will be available in three alternate colors.
The company said the program is supported by its bulk inventory in the Shanghai area and has a targeted lead time of 14 days. To qualify for the program, the company said customers must have consistent container orders “where the custom piece can be tagged onto the existing container.”
Hamilton Spill also will provide retailers large-format swatches along with photography of the product in the various colors.
At next week’sLas Vegas Market, the company will show in the World Market Center, space B-1300. Showroom visitors can book appointments through Kyla Morishita at KylaM@hamiltonspill.hk.
