Dalian, China show draws 40,000
Attendance includes 3,181 from overseas

DALIAN, China — The 13th annual edition of the China Furniture & Woodworks show here drew 40,000 visitors, including 3,181 from overseas, organizers said.
The June 12-15 event was held at the Dalian World Expo Plaza and the Dalian Star-Sea Convention & Exhibition Center.
It included three segments, involving furniture, woodworking machinery, and furniture components and raw materials. The indoor furniture segment included case goods, leather and fabric upholstery, metal furniture, rattan and plastic furniture.
The show drew 400 exhibitors, 85 of which were from overseas. That compares to 452 exhibitors at the June 2007 show, 82 of which were from overseas.
