Last week, while attending the furniture market in Las Vegas, I had a chance to visit with Danny Seo, the green lifestyle guru who graced the cover of the inaugural issue of Green, our digital magazine. (Click here to see first issue)

When we launched the publication last April, I was intent on finding someone who truly lives the green lifestyle to appear on our cover. After much investigation, it was clear to me that Danny Seo was the perfect choice.

At 12, Danny, who ironically was born on Earth Day, had already launched Earth 2000, an environmental group, with the help of a few friends and a whopping $23 of birthday money. By the time he was 18, he led the country’s largest teenage environmental organization.

Since then, Danny has written a series of Simply Green books and has appeared on “Oprah,” “Today,” “Live with Regis and Kelly” and “The Early Show.”

At Vegas, Danny made an appearance at the Simmons showroom as part of a partnership with Simmons. Together, Simmons and Seo unveiled a line of eco-friendly bedding billed as the Natural Care by Danny Seo line.

Hats off to everyone concerned! Green just keeps growing, and that’s a very good thing!
