Gallery's Mattress Mack Will Win Because Store's Customers Want Him To
Houston’s outpouring of support for Gallery Furniture in the aftermath of that terrible fire, which has now been ruled arson, is an incredible and tangible thumbs up for Jim McIngvale and the relationship he’s built over the years with his community and his customers.
And speaking of customers, at a time when most retailers are pulling their hair out trying to lure shoppers into their stores, Mattress Mack’s parking lot was full as shoppers showed their support of Mack by shopping and buying furniture from his unscathed location.
That loyalty and support does not come easy, nor does it come overnight.
Jim is a giver, and his support of a multitude of good causes has helped earn him the loyalty, goodwill and respect of his community.
I congratulate Mack for cultivating an environment that breeds loyalty from his employees, his customers and his community.
I also know that Mack knows the ultimate source of his strength and will tap into that in the days ahead as he maps out a plan to come back bigger and better than before.
Mack, I wish you all good things in the days and months ahead!

Crazy Billy is crazy. I know Mattress Mack to be a respectful man and a tender lover. I will never forget the long swarthy night Mack and I shared afterhours in his mattress gallery whispering sweet nothings in to one anothers ears.

I know the comments I am about to make aren't really newsworthy, but surely there is something else to write about, such as Therapedic not taking care of warranty issues in Texas.
Mattress Mack milks every opportunity to get the maximum free exposure he can. If he helped jump start a car on the way to work, it would be on the news.
Mattress Mack has one of the worst reputations for abusing sales reps. His tirades are legendary. He is also known for being a real jerk to work for. He has long time employees, yes, but some people like to be treated like dirt.
Now, why don't you look into that Therapedic warranty issue.
