Ways to Save Money on Your Market Follow Up

The National Rep Trade Association, IHFRA, has developed a number of benefits this last year that are excellent ways for reps to save money on after market follow ups. Since we are all putting presentations together over the next several weeks here are a few of the discounts you can take advantage of as an IHFRA member.

FedEx - Make sure you are signed up with Fed EX for up to 26% discounts on shipping as well as up to 20% discounts on using any of the services of the FedEx /Kinkos Copy and printing services.

UPS - This is a brand new benefit that should be great for those that have to send out big presentations, swatches, catalogs, etc. You can save up to 30% on your UPS charges. Varying discounts apply for all types of delivery from next day to ground.

Office Depot - This has been a discount many members have used. You will save on purchases of various office supplies as well as discounts of printing and copying services.

My purpose in this post is not to pitch the trade group, but to remind the over 1400 members of the benefits they can use especially after a furniture market. The savings through the use of these benefits alone will exceed the annual cost of your membership.

Today all reps have to work smarter. Any opportunity to save money are welcome and IHFRA has some good benefits. Also, for prospecting, you can't beat Lyon Mercantile.
