Out of the mouths of babes...

August 13, 2008

You’ve heard the old cliché about ‘out of the mouth of babes.’ Well, when it comes to sustainability, more and more children—even those as young as five years old—are not only aware of green initiatives, they are leading them.

And that, my friends, is a powerful thing as well as a good thing. Habits, especially those adopted early on, stay with us throughout this journey we call life.

In fact, current research shows that kids, who are on board the green train, stay on board.

Read the following story that recently appeared in the Hartford Courant that speaks to this exact topic.

Go Green!

Hi. To the person looking for "green" home furnishings that happen to be made in North Carolina, check out a number of upholstery items from Klaussner Furniture. As you may know, they are based locally in Asheboro, NC. Good luck Ray Allegrezza

I am looking to furnish a very green showcase house. It is also a very TRADITIONAL home--albeit casual. I am looking for "green" home furnishings and decor -- preferably materials that are manufactured in or near North Carolina.
