    ARCHDALE, N.C. — Sealy announced last week that it will close its Clarion, Pa., bedding plant in October. Sealy has operated the facility since 1981.     ATLANTA — Bedding major Simmons Co. said its second-quarter sales slipped 3.7%, but net income rose 20% due to lower operating costs and interest expenses.     WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued a preliminary finding that mattress innersprings imported to the United States from China, South Africa and Vietnam were unfairly dumped in the U.S. market.
