SEATTLE — Almost any walkabout in downtown Seattle will lead pedestrians past the two giant spheres that anchor the Amazon headquarters campus, but the adjacent Amazon Go store is attracting its fair share of attention as well.

An 1,800-square-foot store that allows shoppers to scan an app on their phone, grab their items of choice and walk out, Amazon Go is currently in Beta Tasting with Amazon employees, prompting speculation about the evolution of a retail experience devoid of long waits in line.
