Wood Armfield files Chapter 11
Retailer Wood Armfield has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, saying it was hurt by imports and related declining sales. Seventeen of its 20 largest unsecured creditors are furniture suppliers owed more than $2 million, according to a bankruptcy court document. The retailer listed assets in the $1 million to $10 million range and debts of more than $10 million.
